I like the "use a free glass" idea. Why anybody would want to pay over the odds for something endorsed by that Essex boy t**t is beyond me. He'd be first in my firing line. I seethe as soon as I see his gormless grinning mug....grrr...Just because you used to be you think everybody else is, don't you?0

The reason why people are paying out so much for them is that everywhere is sold out of them.
Every Boots store has sold out and so has their website:

Even Kyle on ebay has sold out by the look of it.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
The John Lewis store in Brent Cross had over 25 of them on a shelf, and they were reduced in price too. Didn't see what the final price was though.
Personally, I wouldn't bother; you can't taste the mix without making a mess, and tasting is a important part of making a paste/sauce.0 -
It's really just a flask with a ball in it. Retailers buy them for around a tenner - I think even that is over-inflated. It won't be long before £1 shops have imitations!0

This device is a load of ***p isnt it? Just a plastic flask with a weighted ball which doesnt even chop up the garlic etc! What a gimmick! Jamie could sell his own faeces with the right marketing! I'll stick to a pestle and mortar.Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.
Primum non noce!0
