Methinks the original poster has links with them. 1st post on the forums recommending a dodgy site is a bit suspect.

methinks you're an idiot.. if i had links with them i'd post a bit more of an advert than that.

i've not bought one myself and don't intend to fyi because i've already got one..however i've been using these boards for quite a while and never got round to registering. Having seen this offer i thought i'd put it out there and finally got round to registering.
  • received mine from them today

They are US models that have previously been sold on their site and returned under the 14 day MBG. As they have been sold before you are not supposed to resell then as brand new hence the discount.

    was it in good condition?
  • Sold out now although a Japanese model is 139
  • I ordered one and received it today as promised.

Unfortunately it was pre-owned (still had the previous users nickname installed into the machine) and it was damaged (the analogue joystick did not function). I've had to pay £5.00 to send it back to them!! No replacement as they are out of stock, however they have promised to refund me as soon as they receive the goods back.

To be honest I wouldn't want a replacement. I think I'll pay the extra and get a new one. At least you know what you are getting.

    Buyer beware indeed!!
