Drying Laundry

Although triangular airers don't hold even a full load of washing and are always falling over, I was loathe to use the tumble dryer for financial and ethical reasons. I purchased an upright airer from IKEA for about £20 (brand name models are up to £80!) and it is in constant use. It only needs a couple of square feet of floor space, stands five foot high and comfortably takes two loads of laundry. The airer folds flat when not in use (stands in the gap next to my wardrobe).

That's a link to Ikeas airers. I'm assuming it was the Antonius? I'll be going to Ikea next week so I'd definitely be interested in it if it's the one you're talking of?0 -
