            Aldi do one for £12.99 that is the same sort of thing. I think it is 2.5kg as well. Has its own foil tray.I tried both types last year, and thought they were both OK.0

            i have cooked the goose and pork versions of these in the past they are fab..i took mine out the freezer to defrost as it cuts down cooking time drematically but it can litteraly be put in the oven and left..i am buying one this year again0

            I think there are recipes to make this from turkey breasts, not sure how much you would save and the larger turkey breasts might not be easy to get.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

 yes they are proper turkey. they arnt even in the shape of a roll. they are shaped like a proper joint of meat. i cook mine from frozen and they are finekaties_mum wrote: »This might sound a bit thick - but are they proper turkey and do they taste like proper turkey?
