For the last two weeks i have been waiting for a bill to come out of my accountwhich would leave me no spare money to spend, so have been using up food in the cupboards and basically just not spending any more than necessary ie bread, milk etc(luckily all xmas presents done already).
Thing is i actually read back through my statements this morning and found the bill had already come out:eek: (it was an order from play that was out of stock but they had taken money before posting).
For the last few weeks we have just not been spending and honestly it hasnt been that hard just required shopping around and some good old fashioned willpower.
So now im sooooo proud of me because i know that i can have nsd and not have to go without.:T
Will be having a complete overhaul of budget in the new year to see if we can speed up the debt payments :j :j :j
sorry its so long winded
thanks for reading

Well done. I bet a lot of us could do this if we tried. I am trying not to do a big food shop before Xmas as its just too scary in out local Mr T's so I am trying to use up whats in the cupboards and freezer. Amazing what I have managed to produce considering I thought we had nothing lol.
Good news the bill had already gone out what a bonus

Glad to see you're managing the NSD days! I'm a little rubbish at them myself, but I do have a range of other ways to save cash.
