I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but has anyone seen any offers for money off National Trust membership or a free gift when you join? The papers seem to be full of free gift offers except when I am wanting to join!

If you call them and sign up with DD you get about 30% off0

I think we worked out that you're cheaper signing up with NTS (Nat. Trust Scotland), as they have a reciprocal agreement with the National Trust....0

That's right, join the National Trust for Scotland and it's consistently cheaper than its English counterpart. Admittedly the English Direct Debit offer makes them cheaper at the moment, but only for the first year, then they shove the prices right back up. You get into all English properties for free, and although you won't have one of their guidebooks, you can look it all up on the internet for free on their website. That's what we do every year.0

If you join the National Trust for Scotland do you get free parking in the English sites ?"The time is always right to do what is right"0
