Fake Tan

Hello, hope some one can help!
I normally use tan towel as i like the colour and only use them on my face to stop the 'you look tired' or 'are you ill' comments I always get if I dont fake tan. However they work out quite expensive at £1.50ish a towel twice a week and I think it might be more cost effective to buy a tube of something. I've tried St Tropez face cream which doesn't seem to work on me.
Has anyone got any comments on Fake Bake? or any other fake tan I can use.
The only problem is i'm quite fussy, I can't stand anything that smells too much (don't like johnsons) or anything which feels too heavy/sticky on. I'll only be using it on my face/neck area and am quite pale but don't want something too orange.

have you tried xen tan? i find that's brilliant. you might also find that other types of st tropez work even if the face cream didn't - I use the spray all over, including my face and i like that it has green in it to counteract the orangeness you get with other ones.
edit: dont let the orangeness in my pic put you off lol - it was the lighting!Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0 -

You could try Palmers Cocoa butter self tan, lovely smell but can be quite heavy and quite a dark colour, they also do a gradual build up one which is just as nice but I'm not patient enough and like a good colour straight away, this one is bogof at superdrug as of yesterday.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0
