Hi
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting rid of that constant feeling of nervousness and sickness and worry?!?
I am in a DMP but keep thinking something will go wrong and I cant shake this awful feeling-I dread opening the post incase its another default-even though I know I shouldnt get anything now for 6 months when my creditors contact me to see if my circumstances have changed.
Grrrrrrr!!!

Hiya
I felt like that when I first had my lightbulb moment and I now suffer with panic attacks and constantly feel nervous. I find that I do breathing exercises when I feel extreamly nervous and I have taken up yoga (I got a cheap DVD of amazon) and find that is really relaxing and even helps me sleep which I wasn't doing about a year ago. Maybe you should give the yoga a go. Its worth a try and I found that I really enjoyed it.
I know this might sound annoying but the people that have helped you with the DMP know what they are doing and they do it for a living and I'm sure you will have nothing to worry about. My OH did a DMP and he never had any post through about his debts only balances each month.
I hope this helps and hope you feel better about your situation soon.

I agree with madmich - It is all about putting trust in whoever has sorted your DMP for you.
It gets easier as time goes on, and you realise that as long as you make your payments, then nobody gets shirty with you.
The other bit is to make sure that you still have enough money to live on - which you should be able to manage if you've been through your budget with the DMP.
Check your bank balance often to reassure yourself that you are doing ok...
Take one day at a time, and then it will be one week at a time...then a month at a time....and soon enough you'll be debt free!! :j
Don't be too hard on yourself - treat yourself to something special (even if that's just doing your nails or reading a chapter of your book) when you have stayed within budget. Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Hi Molly,
Remember that the vast vast majority of letters are generated automatically by a computer and are written in a way to cause panic and fear in you.
Don't allow your emotions to be owned by a computer! Chin up; you are NOT your financial circumstances, you are a human being!0
