Went shopping today for a few bits at Tesco's and was refused coupons again. I'm a bit worried that this is becoming a pattern..There is no need to run outside

It sounds like Tescos are certainly tightening up, and unfortunately the Tesco HO response is not very clear either. So far, my local Tescos 9 times of 10 take the vouchers but it sounds like these days are certainly numbered.
I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

does anyone know if waitrose accept coupons if you have not bought the product. one has opened up near me(in an ex safeway store) and it is the first one i know of in the north east. Any help would be appreciated as i know sainsburys, safeway and morrisons do not accept the coupon unless you have bought the product - that is why i dont shop there.Just about to give up!0

I'm pretty sure I've read on these pages that waitrose is one of the three that accepts coupons - obviously Tesco and Asda being the other two.
As to what they'll accept, you could enquire at the CS desk? There is no need to run outside

Waitrose take coupons if they sell the item. You can use as many as you like, and they do not make any fuss.0

Thanks for everyone who posted their experiences here.
So far I have used coupons at two different Sainsbury's three times and they have been accepted each time (without the item being bought). The self-scan machines however do not take coupons.
Yesterday I was at Tesco's and they wouldn't accept any coupons for which I hadn't bought the item. The self-scan machines also rejected the coupons.0
