game won't load, help please.

Hi
I am trying to get civilization IV to load onto pc, but the cd icon appears for a few seconds and then nothing happens. We have Civilization III complete already on there, if it makes any difference. Any help appreciated. We are not technically minded!!

Try browsing the CD drive in explorer and looking for a file called autorun or setup, if anything is there double click on it to run the cd that way.

Found explorer! tried to search for run only one file found relating to nero, searched setup and 145 files came up!!!

open my computer, right click on your DVD drive>explore
this will open a window with the dvd contents, either look for the setup.exe file, or type it into the search box (vista)
double click on the setup.exe, enjoy
