Thanks heaps. ordered the nice blouse, a cardi & 2 pairs of jeans. Needed the jeans & the top but the cardi will be very handy this winter.

i have never ordered from them before but i did read that so long as you have your delivery note you can return to store, thats what swung it for me. ordered the 2 cardies as you can go wrong over jeans in this weather, also the blouse but in 2 sizes as shops differ and i dont know how generous they are with material plan to take one back. thanks op

Yes you can , here's what they say on their website about returns:

Returns to Store

For your convenience, UK customers can go to your nearest store in the UK and Republic of Ireland customers can go to your nearest store in the Republic of Ireland, excluding those in department stores, with returns. Please ensure that you take your despatch note with you as your proof of purchase. You will also require the card that was used to purchase the order online. If you are not the cardholder for the order, they will need to be present at the time of return to store to accept the refund back on to their credit / debit card.
Republic of Ireland customers - Please note: refunds in-store for items bought on-line will be paid in Euros by applying Arcadia’s current commercial exchange rate to the sterling price for the item on your despatch note.
International customers - Please note: unfortunately we currently do not offer refunds or exchanges on items bought on EVANS.CO.UK outside of the UK and Republic of Ireland currently, without exception. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Returns by Post (All Countries)

UK Customers - Alternatively, log in to your account and select 'Request a return' from the 'My Account’ section of the website. Click the order number containing the items you want to return and follow the 'Create return' link next to the order number. Please select the items you wish to send back to us with a reason for each. Once you click the 'Create Return' button you will be given a unique Returns Authorisation Number. Write this number along with your name and address in the areas provided on the freepost returns label. Peel off the prepaid label that comes with delivery, stick it to the parcel and post it to us so that we receive it within 14 days of delivery.

Edited as istarimoneta posted the same thing at the same time!

Note the 14 days to return to a shop is from the date of dispatch, NOT when you receive it. Had this problem when returning things yesterday, but got the money back on a gift card, so not bothered.
