Something has hit the fan!!!!!

I thought I was doing well as we dont have to pay any money into hubby's a/c anymore, but I looked yesterday and realised that the mortgage didn't go through last month and it is unlikely to go through this month as we are overdrawn.

Also the bank phoned me last night and informed me that if we dont keep within our agreed overdraft limit soon they will cancel the DD and take the overdraft facility away.

I was wondering :
Does it affect your credit rating if your mortage doesn't go through?

And has anyone got a spare £100K they can spare ;) ?
😁

A simple answer is yes. Late payments of any kind effect your credit rating.

I dont condone getting extra in to debt, but i suppose you could try a 0% balance credit card to avoid these charges, and service removals, you just need to be disciplined to make sure you pay it off in time

Also who is your bank? They are supposed to help (someone else will quote the banking code section or me ;) )
