I have sent a letter asking mbna for my credit agreement this was sent recorded delivery after about a year of trying to negotiate a lower interest rate which they always declined.
I get a phonecall just now telling me they are willing to freeze my interest I haven't agreed to anything yet do you think they have got the cca or not should I agree to freeze interest or not?

If they are offering to freeze your interest then take it. Your cca request is a seperate issue so still persue that as well. MBNA are notoriously bad at being able to produce a properly executed agreement but just on the offchance that they might produce one at least you will have gotten your interest frozen.0

Freeze the interest! It has taken Sainsburys over a year to still be unable to produce a valid CCA for me and, despite my repeated requests, they have not put the account on hold so I have paid a few hundred pounds of interest in the tmie it has been referred to the FOS while awaiting a decision.
It may take a while to resolve your case, so take whatever they offer you.
Personally, I would agree over the phone but then send them a letter confirming your agreement following the telephone discussion.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
