Hi Everyone.
I did post quite a while back, But I seem to be in worse debt now than before??
I am furious with myself. I started off with a credit card and a small limit of £500, but in less than a year that is now up to £2250, and yes, I am up to the limit.
I also have a catalogue that I owe £466.00 on, although I also have a load of stuff on a buy now pay later, which gets added next year. I have to pay the catalogue £156 this month so will only owe £310 on it then...I can see light at the end of the tunnel on this one.
Once I have paid off this amount, Do you think I should start on the Credit Card first or clear the BNPL amount on the catalogue, before it is due to be added on?? I am starting to struggle to pay the monthly amounts on them both. And really need to, somehow, stop myself using them again.

Hi Mel,
Weldone for posting. You know what you need to do and thats the first step in taking control! You know that you can also do it. When you feel that you are about to spend money that you know that you can not really aford to spend. on smothing that you dont really need. Just think about how many people there are out there who have spent so much money that thay dont even now have enough money to pay there min payments on any of there cards and how bad this feels. If you have ever felt like this (i have) then you know how bad it can get. and how bad you can feel.
Think of this when you are spending and you should be ok. and get all your debt paid off.
All the best and good luck:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Thank You
I will try to keep that thought with me. It just does vanish sometimes as I think Oh I'll afford it somehow!!!
Must be stronger, esp to dh who is a bit impulsive.

Cut up your card - or if you can't bring yourself to do that, give it to someone you can trust (parent/sibling) so you still have it for emergencies.0
