HELP PLEASE - Questions re; bank charges

Avid lurker, ocassional poster here:hello:
My friend has just sent me the following text, shes not a member of MSE.com and i want to be able to give her a construtrive and helpful reply, does any1 know how she stands here.......... its so close to christmas and she has 2 young boys, i know its quite a small thing but she is quite detraught over it!
"yuck im so down bout christmas this year finances real bad and my bank have put 3 charges on my account cause the daft xxxxx at customer service dated my over draft to end 28th nov 08 instead of 09 it only got put on last week dont know what im going to do xxx"

Hi If the bank have made an error she should call them and they should rectify it and then remove the charges, if the OD has only just been agreed it should be obvious they've made a mistake0

Get her to phone the bank. If thay have made the mistake then thay need to sort it out and give her any money back that she has been charhed
