ive recently acquired a 1990 vintage polroger champagne churchill cuvee in a presentation box(present).
its only a single bottle, and ive seen it valued at $260 in specialist US online shops. but you cant sell on ebay, and I dont know anywhere that would buya single bottle.
i dont want to drink it - frankly it would be wasted and i want to get some cash!
any ideas?

Put a postcard up in a bridal shop - or shop near a jewellers ...or in a baby clinic ! Anywhere where celebrating people are likely to be!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

Need a licence to sell alcohol. You won't be able to advertise it without one.
Sell something else and give the champagne as a free gift. I'm not certain, but you might be able to get around the law that way. If you can't someone else here will put me right.
You can however buy fine wines and keep them as an investment, selling them later at a profit. But, having never done it, I'm not sure how that works.Small change can often be found under seat cushions.

It's unlikely that you will be able to sell the Champagne to a collector/dealer as they will need proof that it has been stored correctly, and these investments you see are normally stored by a third party.
While it is correct that you can not sell Alcohol with out the Duty being paid, I doubt very much you will be arrested at the local Car boot sale with the just the one bottle. My Mind wanders, if found please return.0 -
You can sell it on ebay but you have to make sure you word it properly. List it as being a collectable bottle and say something like 'the seller accepts no responsibilty for the contents'. Give as much detail about the bottle as you can. Anyone looking for a bottle of champayne will know what you mean or send you a question.
Heres the kind of thing I mean:
