I wanna nice Art set

I'd like to get an art set for my mum. I guess something in the £40-£50 region(ish). I want something thats not too specialised and has a good variety of items. Dont want anything tacky though. I'm gonna take a look in Hobbycraft tomorrow, but wondered if there were any good art shops online (especially ones with sales!). I'm from a technical background, so have no idea where to start looking for this sort of thing
!!!

Hi if you want to obtain a good quality Art Set, may I suggest you try
http://www.winsornewton.com/index2.php
From this website you will find shops in your area, you can also see some of the products on line.
Winsor & Newton is the world's Oldest & largest manufacturer, and makes most of it's products here in England and has the Royal Warrant. My Mind wanders, if found please return.0 -
there were some nice ones in smiths. also could be a matter of personal choice. you coulg give your mum a very small token set and either a homemade voucher to cover a set of her choice and you will get it or else the additional money in an envelope.0
