Boffer Secret Sell Off

This is my first thread so be gentle! I have searched the site and can't find this thread anywhere, even though I swear I have seen it...

Anyway, The boffer secret sell off date has been announced! it will begin this Sunday :0)

Don't want to disapoint but I remember something the same (I think) from before - they said everything would be free but there was at least 2.99 p & p on all items however small so nothing was cheap or free - I may be wrong and thanks for thinking of us all, but may not turn out as it sounds - boo hoo!

I took part in the last secret sell off, and what a waste of time it was

Most things had £2.99 postage to pay, and often that £2.99 was more than the item was worth! Most of the stuff they had was widely available in £1 stores for the 100p mark...so they were 300% more expensive on Boffer.

Plus, you cannot combine postage, it is £2.99 on each and every item that you purchase.

May well be so worth a try but the time I tried there was £2.99 p & p on every single item, even really small things and you did have to pay it separatly for each thing, so be prepared!

Out of all of it, only two items were free P+P, but you had to have a high "kudos" ranking to be allowed to purchase them. One of the items was the rubber Nano sleeve, and the other was a vodka flavoured lolli with a real dead scorpion in...but this was just 2 products out of the 10 items that they actually listed.

This thing goes on for 24 hours, yet one item can take 3 or 4 hours to sell out, even with free P+P, because it's utter crap!

Take part if you want, but don't get too excited.

There were five totally free items during the last Boffer sell off, some of which required you have kudos of at least 10 for. There were three different lollies, ipod nano skins and ipod shuffle skins. Not exactly earth shattering but freebies nonetheless.

Some of the stuff on there is total pants but there have been the odd bargain on there. The Bag of Crap is particularly popular! :rotfl:

One of the items was a spoof anyway, they said in the sale that it was a fake sale and that they wouldn't move onto the next item until people stopped trying to buy it...apparently it was a joke! But not a very funny joke when you were waiting hours for the next item...and then it turned out to be crud when it finally came up.

Most people on here are talking about the Freeboff that already ended and was getting rid of stuff for free, with P&P to pay on some of it.

The original poster was talking about the Secret Sell Off which is a different event and has larger, better items in it (including the funny BoC's hopefully, along with proper items of importance ) and will all be paid for items, but still cheap and better than the Freeboff items.

I wish people would stop being so miserable about Boffer - if you don't like it, don't take part - a huge sign of society nowadays - lets all stop being such grumpy pants and look on it as it's meant to be - perhaps you'll get a bargain, perhaps not but if you like it great, if not vote with your feet and walk away.
