I have just returned from woolies and it is a bit of a con, there are very few things with 50% off, school uniform and a few christmas bits in my store. All electrical stuff and consoles were 10% off including all games. Clothes and most other stuff was 20%. Your stores may be different, but the manager in mine was been torn to shreds by many after all the advetising they had seen for 50% off

Many of us appreciate being told if the Metro has a moc in or not. Sometimes it does and then we can scoot around on a train searching for some free money. There's only a nss moc in the Metro about once a quarter but when there is...it's free!

I see you are too new to remember when the Metro had 3 nss mocs in it, totalling over £7 per issue? :rotfl:If quoia (who's a girlie BTW) had stuck some standard blurb in her first post that the Metro was 'assumed' to have no moc in, we would not have been amused that day!




P.S. can't wait to check out the Waitrose moc in tomorrow's Daily Mail...as Quentin rightly says, this should be OK for Tesco (as long as there is no specific thing or range to spend your £60 on, and it has a 9 9 barcode, it will count as a spend & save voucher which T accept).

Basil, I seem to have thanked you by mistake.

I really appreciate posts that tell us that there is not coupon in the Metro.

It saves me going out early into the freezing cold.

I well remember when Metro has the 3 coupons worth a total of £7.10 and they were valid for around 6 weeks.

It may be only occasionally that the Metro has coupons but it's usually well worth it when it does as these papers are free.

I would prefere just to be told when there is a coupon, rather then when there is not. If that makes sense.
