We are sitting down and discussing this during the week so I shall update during the week... Hopefully I can answer that with good news during the week coming. My dad has mentioned that he is willing to buy into should Graeme move out but nothing agreed or discussed in princliple
Well it shows you've thought about it at least. Good luck to you. I was no where near as sensible as you are at your age. I would have just thought someone like me was trying to spoil my fun :rotfl:Debt at LBM (March 2006): £30,000

No not at all
I prefer you asked all these questioned cause after all I may have learned a few lessons the hard way young, but I may still have not realised somethings but I took an active approach to this move.
I went to a couple of people in that situation just now such as my OH, who has made a lot of things easier for me
. She's had her own flat for the last 6 years, left home as soon as the 16th birthday card was opened lol 0 -
So what do you lot think... If and hopefully when the deal goes forward for the £7000 for my car what my best way to pay off the remaining, lets say £2000 balance?
I want to be able to not have to pay much back until August when my money goes up so I can afford to live in the mean time...
Am I best going for a Super Balance Transfer 0% credit card and paying the bare minimum until I can afford to pay off more... or what should I do?0 -
Right, been talking to my OH and she spoke to her sister in law who works for RBS, apprently there is a new flexible loan out or coming out that calculates interest rates daily and allows you to over pay and such like...
Where could I find some reading on this?0 -

Unfortunately they don't at the minute i think it maye be a very new thing, which they may be offering to staff or told staff about for friends and family perhaps.
I will try get more info through the OH today and let you know.
Whate I know so far is it a flexible loan allowing to to pay more or less each month, you can pay in lump sums and interest rates are calculated daily

Just check out that you don't end up paying a higher interest rate for the flexibility, if you can get a 0% card that might be a better option.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763
