Tesco Finest Meal Deal for two for £9 (incl. wine)

Tesco seems to have copied M&S and is currently doing a meal deal for two on Tesco Finest products. Like the M&S deal the offer includes a main meal for two, a side dish, a dessert and a bottle of wine, all for £9. It is cheaper than the M&S deal but the selection isn't as good (chicken breast dish, fishcake dish or steak Diane for mains; roast potatoes with bacon, mash, gratin dauphinois or potato croquettes (no vegetables) as sides; lemon or chocolate tart for dessert). The wines, however, are excellent (Nero d'Alba or Tesco Fiano Sicilian white).
Unfortunately, the display didn't mention how long the deal was available for.

They were doing it all last week and I succombed this evening.

The Steak Diane is pretty yuck and very salty. It's not a patch on M&S at all - pretty average ready-meal if you ask me. It's incredibly salty - not sure if it was the steak Diane or the oven roast potatoes also with a LOT of garlic (And I like garlic a lot!). Strawberry cheesecake was fine. I haven't opened the wine yet but in terms of value for money overall, M&S wins hands down.

Lots of people wandering up to the display and walking away again each time I've been actually - not like the scrum at M&S, lol!
