New TV

Hi

I need to buy a new tv and I think that the Toshiba 42XV555DB is my best bet, I have seen it at John Lewis for £586 and am happy to buy it, but I was wondering if I am better off buying it now or waiting for a sale / after Christmas?

Also, does anyone have any tips for money off?

£550 at Currys - there's a code for free delivery too.

    And 4% cashback from topcashback

    587.22 for me as well.

I really do not know what to do!

586 from john lewis with 2% rebate and a 5 year warranty or 550 from currys with 4% and 1 year.

Knowing my luck, the tv will break in the second or third year... anyone know how much extended warrantys from currys are (I tried looking with no luck) and if it is worth it?

    Thanks

was 528 when i went there but they do change and mess about even at silly times

if the difference is 30+quid i would go with the longer warranty and sellotape it onto the back of the telly because in 4 years time when it goes t*ts up the only guarantee is you wont find the bloody guarantee will be cheaper somewhere in the sales for sure

I don't think we're supposed to post codes but if you follow this link you should see two codes for Dixons, both working, brings the cost to £521.55 with free delivery.

I've had a good look at their site and can't see how you can buy extended warranty. I suppose a phone call might shed some light on that.
