motgage deal ending,what should i do?

    Your deal is coming to an end, so you automatically go on the SVR. Your letter is telling you what the SVR was at the time it was printed off - ie 5%. This is what you'd pay if you do nothing. The SVR has now gone down to 4.75% so this is what you'll pay if you do nothing.

    The old tracker rate is only relevant if you have one more payment to make on your mortgage on 1 January. When exactly does your deal come to an end?

    If all that is confusing, then you really do need to seek face to face help.
