Anyone know of any free software for working out company taxes?

in Cutting tax
I'm trying to put into a spreadsheet for my accountant the various payments and taxes for the year but the spreadsheet he has given me has lots of errors in it and the excel formulas are screwed up.
Does anyone know of any free software or websites where I can input all the income and expenses which will work out my VAT quarters, CT liability and Payroll for me?
I'm trying to reconcile all the figures but his spreadsheet is giving me different figures to that of my previous accountant and I want to make sure we don't pay too much or too little tax. (Before anyone asks, our new accountant has asked us to fill in his spreadsheet for the past year (Dec 2007 - Nov 2008) even though our old accountant has already done much of the tax for the past year to see if our old accountant did the calculations correctly).
If not, nevermind but would be very helpful.

Try the employers CD Rom issued by H M Revenue & Customs - doesn't produce a payslip but does do all the calculations for you. If you have not got the CD Rom get in touch with HMRC.0

Can't help much with the accounting software but you could try 12Pay for free payroll software. We've been using them for quite some time and there support is great.0
