how long

I did get in touch in October to the tax about claiming tax back on washing uniforms, i have not heard anything back, should i write again or leave it awhile yet? thanks
Also i have a full time job, low paid, but i also do 16hrs a month in a 2nd job, in that one i get £100 with £20 taken off, i have had that one for 18mths, do you think i can get any tax back, i hope i have explained myself ok. thanks for your help

  • If you earn over £6035 at your full time job, then it's correct that you pay 20% tax at your second job.

    You can call the tax office that deal with your main employer to follow up the letter that you sent.
