Should I buy it (dress)???

Ok so me and DP aren't engaged yet but we are definitely getting married. Strange I know and I'm sure you may have views on this but basically he wants to propose in a special way and since DD came along before he had chance he has asked if I want to wait. I know if, when he came home tonight, I said I want to get married next week he would without question but he wants it to be a special memory... in his words "do you really want to tell everyone I proposed to you in Pizza Hut/ the pub etc".
Anyway... a freind of a friend is selling a wedding dress on Ebay that is exactly what I've always imagined wearing on my special day. She never wore it herself and paid a fortune for it. Its going for £200 with hardly any time left-I know she paid 5 times as much (if not more) but changed her mind and couldn't return it as it was altered for her..... question is (as if you haven't guessed
)...do I buy it???

There's nothing like tempting fate!
I couldn't do it myself, others may disagree with me.
Do you have £200 going spare? If money isn't a problem then I suppose you could go for it, but what happens if you lose/gain weight? Decide to have a seasonal wedding? Find something much nicer?
Is changing your mind going to be a problem further down the line?
I could find one on eBay now, set my heart on it and could be sitting here waiting for my OH to propose for a while yet, I'm just not sure it's a wise idea.,___,

go for it! if you don't like it or whatver you could sell it too.......
And tell your OH to make it sooner rather than later!:T0 -
Personally I wouldn't! Before I chose my dress I had an idea in mind of what I always thought my dress would be like. When I went to try on dresses though I ended up going for something completely different!
Also, when the time comes you might feel you have missed out on the experience of going to try lots of different dresses on shops?0 -
Ive got my doubts about you buying the dress too. Do you know it would fit you? Also there are second hand dresses much cheaper than £200 on Ebay which are lovely. You could even get one made to measure from Ebay for less than that.0
