Glitter Tap Shoes size Small 7

Kids small 7 glitter tap shoes for my daughter for a reasonable price. They'll last her no time at all as her feet are constantly growing. Have looked at ebay and tried a few searches but still shocked at the price.

when i was a tap dancer many moons ago, i had to do a performance and we all had white tap shoes that we coated with glue and scattered glitter all over them. made a bit of a mess on the stage, but for a 7 year old i was gutted when they got too small.0

Monsoon has all their party shoes on sale for 70% off - I paid £5.40 for a pair. I think you can buy "taps" that you can customise any shoes with in most shoe repair shops.:snow_laug HM Christmas 2010

I have had years of this with my daughter, so sympathise!
I have used a company called Dance Gear Direct and they give excellent service. They went out of their way to help me get stuff and even foned to see if I got it in time for show!
The catalogue I have is a few years old but you can get all info on their site https://www.dancegeardirect.co.uk

Had to kit little Miss Dingdang out for danceclass, after a little interwebby searching we tried the following link, couldn't fault them, very speedy delivery and reasonable prices- particularly the tap shoes.

Had a quick search couldn't find any glitter tap shoes, may be worth dropping them an e-mail?0 -
Hi Thank - you for your messages, we usually use dancedirectworld as my 9 year old does RAD ballet and they are great with really fast delivery however they do not sell the glittery tap shoes as emailed them before popping this post on. Am having a look at the Dance Gear Website will email them re the shoes.
Thanks again0 -
Hi again
Just wondered if you had any luck with the tap shoes. I see plently of 'hologram' ones around but not so many glitter ones.
Just a coincidence, but I noted from another post you will be in Glasgow on Sat. If you have time, there is a shop called West End Dance Boutique which is in Scotstoun. If you have time to kill you could always try them. Their no is 0141 959 0922.
The other shops I know of in Glasgow don't have them.0 -
Follow up...... they have a website https://www.westenddanceboutique.com. they have silver hologram taps size 7 small for £18. They look quite sparkly from the picture!
This might be still a bit expensive, but hope it helps anyway.0 -
I had years of this to.... but for myself

We used to spray our shoes for performances and though I never needed glittery taps (:() the girls that did need them would do them theirselves with the old PVA and glitter.
It doesn't take any skill to do them, you just paint PVA all over the shoe and then roll in glitter (go to Hobbycraft and buy the BIG glitter). Then you press them all over and leave them to dry. Then brush them with a new big paintbrush to get the loose glitter off.
It would probably be cheaper to buy a pair of plastic tap shoes and do them yourself if you don't want to ruin her normal taps.
They look great when they're done but the glitter wears off in the creases after a while (she'll prob have outgrown them by then anyway)Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
Thanks for all the tips, the silver shoes are for her uniform not for a show, am going to have a further look or ebay or worsecomes to worse may just buy the plain silver ones. EVen £18 seems a lot when she is not even 3 and growing at alarming rate.0
