The site is just like ebay - sometime items sell for a lot less than they're worth, sometimes a lot more. Having seen people sell £1 coins for 100 Swapits, I'm inclined to agree that a Swapit is worth roughly a penny. The problem with selling something like an X-Box is that there aren't many swapit members with 10,000+ Swapits. So its going to go for a lesser 'value', i.e. if it sold for 5,000 Swapits, that would be the equivalent of about £50.

Errrrr........... I think you'll find you can. Several people put auctions up offering money for Swapits (i.e. you bid on a £1 coin). So if you wanted to 'cash in' your swapits for dosh, you could do.

but buying money on swapitshop is stupid cos people sell £20 notes for 9000 swapits and you could get thing worth way more than £20 with 9000 swapits

Absolutely true. It would make much more sense to buy something for 9000 swapits then sell the item to someone offline. I guess some people are just so desperate for money they dont really think it through!
