If it can be machine washed use Vanish crystal white in your washing machine, check the label on the rug first though. Bex bissel do a good carpet cleaner, use a hand sprayer to apply then lightly sponge off.0

I shampooed my rug with a Stardrops solution in warmish water. It was a last resort and I thought I'd have to throw it away and buy a new one but it came up virtually like new! Well chuffed and already had the Stardrops in!
Worth a try?0 -
Hi Alex
I posted a question about cleaning a fitted carpet recently. I got several replies, and you might find some of them are useful for rugs too.

LydiaDo you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
