Are Shinco dvd players good?

I'm on the look out for a portable dvd player and searching on websites shinco seems to be the best ones to go for.I'm looking to pay around £100.
Have seen the shinco sdp-1731. is this a good one? Does anyone have it here? Or maybe i can can be pointed in the direction of a better one for the money?

I got that very one for christmas for hubby last year based on reviews and recommendations and its excellent. Some of the features he hasn't used yet but it seems to have it all. I paid about 150 quid but its come down a lot since then. Firebox.com had a lot of user reviews.

thanks for the advice.i think i'm going to go for that one.haven't seen a bad review of it yet.never even heard of shinco before i started loking for a portable dvd, that's why i thought i'd ask around.

Hi - we have two Shinco players (bought from a company based in Nottingham - allcam). Players have been brilliant, with no problems - yet!(touch wood). Delivery was quick too!

I think they are chinese .Have just come back from the far east where everyone is using Shinco's
