Just a quick bump! How is everyone getting on with their Easter makes? I've done 3 of the below so far just need to put together another 3 so not bad! Just glad i've finished all my knitted ducks, chicks and bunny cosies, all 20 of them!

The basket consist of some green shredded plastic at the bottom acting like a soft nest and on top is a Toy Story easter egg, some colourful plastic egg shells filled with some Mini Eggs, a knitted chick, duck and bunny cosy covering a creme egg and caramel eggs. There are also some easter chocolate figurines wrapped in cello and handmade easter sticker toppers (DD helped!) and a carrot cone filled with some fizzy orange sweeties! Going to wrap the basket up in cello and add a yellow pull bow. I've also got a girl's version only differences is the shredded plastic is pink and the easter egg is a Tinkerbell one!
The last 2pic is what we will be giving to some of our friend's kids and DD's pre-school teachers but the personalised paper bags will be filled with easter treats!
My next make is some bunny poops if i have time!
Oh, head down to the 99p store loads of lovely Easter bits at the moment! I got the sweets for my carrot cone there, it was the Chewits fizzy sweets 99p for a large tub! It filled 6 cones and some left over for me...0 -

butterfly2001, maybe a soft toy (but check the eyes, some aren't suitable for under 3's) of perhaps a duck or rabbit. Possibly one handknitted?
Are they allowed sweets? If so you could put a few inside a plastic egg or homemade cardboard basket.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
butterfly2001. Can the child have carob. It is available from health food shops and is similar to chocolate. Easter eggs are usually available at this time of year. Check with health people or Childs Mum.0

Thinking of making some carrot cones but was wondering what are you using for the orange sweets inside?
Unfortunately I can't find the site that I found it on.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -

Try making a 'carrot cone' like i did above but this time fill them with 'Organix' baby carrot stick crisps? (CandyB101 reminded me!) They will look orange and they are suitable for babies and toddlers. Or/and add some raisins in a cello bag, add a personalised homemade topper and it can be 'Bunny Poop!' HTH
Otherwise here are some not so MSE ideas!-
A soft toy, maybe a Peter Rabbit or ? Tomy do these plastic egg toys called 'Hide 'n' Squeak Eggs' great for little ones and Easter related! Link - http://www.boots.com/en/Tomy-Hide-n-Squeak-Eggs_844228/ or maybe Peter Rabbit mini library book set - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Peter-Rabbit-Library-Beatrix-Potter/dp/072326452X M&S has some Easter puzzles at the moment for £5 and John Lewis has some nice Easter gifts from rabbit comforters to soft cloth books - http://www.johnlewis.com/Gifts/Easter/Easter/Easter+Gifts/2114/0/0/ProductCategory.aspx#&&/wEXAgURU2VhcmNoRXZlbnRUYXJnZXQFH1NlYXJjaFJlc3VsdHNHcmlkMV9VcGRhdGVQYW5lbDEFE1NlYXJjaEV2ZW50QXJndW1lbnQFQlNSVC9HaWZ0cy9FYXN0ZXIvRWFzdGVyL0Vhc3RlcitHaWZ0cy8yMTE0LzAvMS9Qcm9kdWN0Q2F0ZWdvcnkuYXNweN7OVxTWoJcttF/AGIB3HAa2cpui0
