The Great '5.1 Speaker Set' Hunt

im looking to spend around £40 on some semi decent 5.1 speakers for my xbox360.

ive so far found two pairs at £30.00

one is the Acoustic Solutions AS100 from RicherSounds
and the other
IT Works LS-6007 from Comet

can anyone else suggest any from personal recommendation to good cheap ones.

If you can order online and collect these from the shop they would fit within your budget. I don't know how they compare with your other options though, just seems to be reasonable discount

they didnt have stock last night and now they do. typical ive just been and bought the AS100's from Richer sounds, ill give em a test and return em if theyre crap.

Pciked up a silvert crest 5.1 system from Lidl about a month ago and cost £40 and the system is good value for the money but have not tried it on my 360 yet as I need an extender to get my cables into it. DVD's sound great on it and the bass is amazing

i went for the Logitech's in the end, as ive used them before, took the AS back without trying them.

im happy. just need to find a way to add more than one device, surely there are splitters I can get.
