    Hi Lisa,

    I'm not good at SOAs, but my only comment would be to put mobile in with land-line, as;

    Telephone £ 50

    unless someone has advised differently.:D

    Ah! I see. Have you put a letter in with the forms to say why the car is not a luxury? It might be worth it for the OR. There is a link in the Bankruptcy Help sticky about cars that might be worth a read.

  • ive put in the section about dependants that my nan is also a dependant. but im going to add abit at the end just to say the car is needed for my nan. my dad bought it but i cant prove it as he has no reciepts, but its in my name on the log book so just going to expkain to the OR about it. its only worth between £300-£400 so its not like im driving a brand new jag it is just a run around

    Remember, being the "registered keeper" (that's the logbook DVLA bit), does not make you the owner. Your dad is the owner. It has to be in your name for the insurance and the fact that you keep it.

    I don't think it will make any difference, but you could put

    3.7 - No (ownership of vehicle)

    3.9 - Yes (use of vehicle you do not own)

    The only problem with that could be with your insurance expenditure?

    Either way shouldn't be a problem.

    3.7 - Yes

    You just argue (if you have to on OR interview) that it's not really your car etc etc. but as it's in your name you thought you had to put it down.

    Generally, although we all want to do the forms "right", it doesn't really matter if you make a mistake. You might have to explain it later, but you might not.

  • i was going to just say its mine as its to complicated trying to explain my dad bought it for me without any proof. and my insurance says im the owner of the car so thought the OR could check my insurance. was just gona explain why my dad bought me it and hope the OR classes it as i need it not want it
