Debt collectors bad experience

An amusingly true story to lighten the hearts of those pursued by debt collectors.

Some years ago I used to live in a country location surrounded by miles of woodland and bridle paths, a neighbour and myself used to meet up every morning, lunch time and at nine pm to walk our dogs through the woods along a country lane with some cottages then back through the woods.

We often used chat with an old lady in the end cottage and over several months she told us of her troubles with Intrum Justitia over a debt that had been incurred in her name by her step son who had long left. They were hounding her by collecting £10 a week, it was as clear as day she did not owe the debt, but she was an easyily harrassed soft target.

My neighbour, a very big and broad 6' 3'' retired fireman and myself were passing one evenig as it was getting dark, on the doorstep was undoubtedly the D.C giving this lady plenty of grief, we watched and listened for a minute or so and my neighbour, normally a very polite quiet person,  called his dogs put them on the lead and asked me to hold them.

He then stepped over the garden gate, he was that big, and stood quietly behind the D.C as though he was waiting to speak to the old lady,  then he started to take a long leak down the back of D.C's trouser legs who leapt across the garden cursing, My neighbour then zipped up his pants and just stepped back over the gate and let his dogs back off their leads.

The only words he said to the D.C with a grin were. "Phew i needed that" then we leisurly walked back into the woods with the dogs,  the lady never heard from Intrum Justitia agan.
