tesco online

Options
I have never ordered grocery online for home delivery. I am now thinking of doing so perhaps not to close to xmas as i know delivery slots would be hard to obtain but was just wondering if anybody knows if i order from tesco tomorrow how long would i usally have to wait for a delivery slot. i have not regested yet as i was just wondering is tesco the best price wise as i am a bargin hunter (not worred which supermarket) so looking at which supermarket has the best first order discount eg i think tesco has a first order/ reg discout of £5 plus £5 quidco is this true.
If ive helped click thanks it will make me smile :D

Yes this is true, you can go through Quidco, but be ware that cashback is never guaranteed.

Better of using discount codes for Tesco, which can be found in discount sections on here.

Tesco is not the cheapest but they have the clubcard + clubcard deals so thats why most people shop there.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

How do you mean if you order tomorrow how long you will have to wait for a delivery slot?
You pick a delivery slot which suits you when you shop online and you can order as often as you like, you don't need to wait a certain amount of days to order again. Asda let you order the day before aslong you check out before 3 or 4pm, not sure about Tesco.

Tesco let you change/amend your order right up til midnight (maybe later but I haven't tried) the day before your delivery. My husband logged on to the site at 6pm tonight and our delivery is coming between 3 and 5 tomorrow afternoon. You choose a slot to suit you, the price varies, whereas Asda's delivery charge is the same no matter when. I've had a few problems with Asda's delivery but so far so good with Tesco, been using them about a month now and have already booked my Christmas delivery slot for just before Christmas, part shopped and will add to it between now and then.

I used them for the first time the other day and never again. The driver called at 10.15pm (supposed to be delivering between 8 and 10) to say it was too late nad he was going home and not delivering my food! We had nothing in the house for the next day and I was furious. THen I had to ring customer services who tried to set me up with the delivery in two days' time! I told them no, I do't think so. And got them to refund everything. They sent a £10 evoucher as apologies but I'm not sure I'll ever use them again. Sticking with ocado for special occasions. THy've neever let me down.

Can i not use quidco and discount codes as quidco does not give a percentage as with most websites it just gives £5 for a new regustration. plus i do not have a club card as of yet can i regester online for one?

It was £4.50 last time I used them (about a mth ago) but the Christmas week may be dearer (Tesco is), we normally pay between £4 and £5 for a Tesco delivery but the Christmas one is £6

    Hi

Dont know where you live. I live in Southampton and if i go onto tesco to book a slot now i can get one for tomorrow, friday, sat and sunday no probs.

I have used Tesco for about 6 months and had no probs with delivery men, times or slots. A few times they have been out of things but have sent replacements. If you do not like the replacements you had them back to the driver. There is also a function when you order so you can specify if your product is out of stock what you would like instead.

Once you have picked your slot you can amend your order al the way to 4.29am in the morning if not mistaken! I usually get my order delivered on a sunday and have come in after a night out sat night and changed a few things at 2am!

Price for delivery for the next few days is between £4 and £5.50 depending on time.

Like others have said there are money off vouchers and things to be had which end up making delivery free most of the time.

    Hope this helps
