Where to buy a safe?

We need a safe for personal documents and some jewelery. We live in Lisburn area but since the province is pretty small we'll go just about anywhere to get a good, sturdy heavy safe. Anyone have any recommendations?

Screwfix Direct have a good range of safes http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/cat.jsp?cId=101354&ts=13030 and 3 day delivery to here is free on items over £45. Less than that it's £5.95. On saying that I've received items I've ordered from them the next day.

Try Makro if you have a card or Woolworths had them for £14.99 the keypad one....Big W had them at Chrismas ( part of Woolworths group )
  • We've been reviewing home security and plan to buy safe as hoping to pay off mortgage and when get deeds returned will need somewhere to store them (building society we are with won't allow us to keep small amount on mortgage in order for them to keep deeds and charge £25 per year so thought buying safe cheaper in long run).

Been searching the internet recently for info on safes, particularly fire safes and found out that they are designed to either protect paper documents or data, ie DVD/CD, photos etc. Worth looking at this site: https://www.safeoptions.co.uk and go to "jargon buster".

    Hope this helps.
