Free Simple Skin Health Check worth £9.78

Just seen this offer on the competitions bit of the Elle website (http://features.elleuk.com/competition/index.php?comp_id=119)

"In addition to these fantastic prizes, every reader can also benefit from a free online Simple Skin Health Check worth £9.78 - a comprehensive online skin health check for everyone across the country who wants to understand their skin better and how their lifestyle impacts on their overall skin health. For your Free Skin Health Check just visit
www.simple.co.uk/Skin-Health-Check and use the promotional code ‘elle79’."

I did mine this morning - it's an online questionnaire about your lifestyle and skin condition/concerns, and they email you a report within 24 hours. Still waiting for the report so don't know how good it is, but worth a try!

    ................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................

  • I think she meant the free skin report with the "elle79" code offered in conjunction with the comp, not the comp itself.

Yes, thanks, I realised that, but the Skin care check has already been posted 3 times this year since July... ;)

I realise that but you didn't refer to that in your first post in the thread did you? ;)

Some people may not have even been members in July or accessed said thread since and,

    a) would be glad to see posts and

    b) woud not know they had been on before and

    c) even if they had been on before the new post could be merged and bumped so we could all still benefit and

    d) people don't post duplicates knowingly !!!!! and

    e) I , for one and Martins Doll have both done this ourselves (posted duplicates without knowing ) and ...

    f) ... more importandly am getting so fed up and sick with all the bickering and one-up-man-ship on what's meant to be a fun and friendly board. I access post after post to find nothing but bitterness and bad feeling when this is meant for fun and freebies (and friendship - which may be a by product of the ethos, spirit & philosophey of the forum/board but a good one none the less) and this is yet another one tonight!

Come on peeps!, lets all enjoy ourselves, where is all this coming from?

Sorry if I sound preachy but this is the third or fourth thread I've looked at tonight that just seems to be enamating bad feeling and bickering instead of a site that has been set up for us all to unite in having fun, getting freebies and being friendly along the way.

There is just no advantage to anyone in pointing things out in a negative way.

Yes Pip we've all done it, but I for one, and others, tried to seek advice as to how to carry out a search of the relevant forum before posting a new thread, so as to not post duplicated threads... ;)

To get back to a lighter note (but really bit cheeky rude so for anyone that's offended easily don't read!) - everytime I read your user name Fern Merkin, it reminds me of a chain of pubs where the staff wear T-shirts that say 'I'm a Firken !!!!!!' :rotfl: (sorry, haven't helped with query and this is a bit rude [blush]):T

This was in The Times yesterday - today I have received 12 emails so far telling me that my report is ready
  • Hello All :D

Hope this hasn't been posted already but on beautypages.com - http://www.the-beauty-pages.com/specials.php - there is a promotion code and a link to a free Simple Skin Check.

I've just tried it and all you need to do is answer a few questions about your skin, health and diet and then apparently 24 hours after you get a free skin report (only just applied for mine, so I have no idea what you get, although I do know that they send you a web link to access your report).

    I'll let you know....;)
