Carol Concert - Buying Mulled Wine for 250 People

Hi guys,

My church is putting on a carol concert for this Sunday, we're doing mulled wine and mince pies and I need to buy about 40 bottles of cheap medium/full-bodied red wine to make the mulled wine!
Anyone know where a good place to buy cheap red wine in bulk?

I found some cheap wines on tesco's but they can't deliver until next Tuesday which is too late. I'm looking for bottles under £4 really.

liddl or aldi i would guess are your cheapest places. but i never buy red wine so cant really help you.

do you know anyone that has a cash and carry card?

Thanks for that, found a great full bodied red on the aldi website! Just ringing up to see if I can come in and pick up 40 bottles!

Asda have some pre-made bottles of mulled wine at £2 each. Don't know what it is like, but I bought a bottle for us.
