Its really starting to get on my nerves now. Paypal say that the order has gone through and when processing the order Boots will apply for the money, Boots says the order hasn't gone through. I'm thinkin of saying balls to it and walkin in to town in the morning instead to see if I can get the few things I want. I only want a bloody S & G Grab Bag and 2 Natural Collection items. Superdrug are a pile of poo too. You would think seen as most people save money etc for the xmas sales that large companies would prepare properly. A £40 order might not be huge but when there are hundreds or thousands of people getting frustrated and deciding to not bother with their £40 order etc its quite a large chunk.
Grrrr lol
Merry Christmas

I`m glad I`m not the only one having trouble! Finally got an order through yesterday (site was sooo slow, I nearly lost the will to live), & wanted to place another order today, but couldn`t click on my basket to complete the order- gave up in the end- will have to get up early & drive to the nearest large Boots, miles away0

Dotcom is still a bit slow but working well enough to accept my S&G order, allow the 500 point code and recognise my geriatric ACM number without squawking (the 'new' site could not do this for ages  ).
Lovely big box of S&G on its way :j :j :jI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
morning all - happy boxing day
im in some need of a great bootsers advice, i want to buy my mum something in the sale using my points but im just over 100 short... has anyone got any ideas on the cheapest/best way to make up those points before i pay for her gift?
thanks if you can help... happy shopping those who are braving it this morning0 -
out the loop a bit, but if you have a bluey get some shampoo/conditioner and use a bluey to reduce by £2 and an ACM voucher , values vary betweem 100 and 150 points (I think) but these are the brands there are ACM vouchers for (taken from CPG's first post)
• Receive points when you buy Toni&Guy haircare products.
• Receive points when you buy Trevor Sorbie Professional haircare products.
• Receive points when you buy from the Umberto Giannini Professional Haircare rangeSo you could get 100 - 150 points on a £2.50ish spend ~ bluey pending of course
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0 -

Happy Boxing Day everyone! Boxing Day originated in the olden days (when I was a lass!), and boxes of gifts, or alms, were given to the poor.
Of course, we Bootsers have given a 21st century twist to this, and are giving boxes or hampers of goodies to our friends and family, and today, we are giving boxes of goodies to the poor - ourselves!
Had a fabulous Christmas, exhausting but great, with all the family round. I must thank everybody on here who has given me so much help and advice, especially regarding the Admit It You Want Me sets, which cost me £10 for 3.
I gave these to several people either as their present, or as an extra, and they are all raving about them. Apparently, as probably all of you know, but I didn't, it was featured on Gok's programme, and so I am looked upon as a Fairy Godmother!
Superd**g, can go and **** themselves, what a complete failure their online sale was, and I too lost the will to live regards Boots. Good ol' M & S was fine, got all I wanted (and some things I didn't!), now gonna have a look at the other online sales, as I'm not going to join the High Street throng.
Good luck everyone with your purchases, have a great time and thanks again for Helping The Aged, and making me awfully popular as a present giver!!
