I recently ordered the slimfast and, like others have mentioned, use by dates are all feb 09. Is there anything we can do about it, as it's alot to get through by then....! I assume we can't raise it as an issue, as it would highlight the 'cheapness' of the deal?

Re: the slimfast, as i have said before some of the glitches are genuine errors, which is why they are instantly removed from .com, others however are IMO placed there on purpose to shift vast quantities of surplus stock. Mr B obviously has a warehouse full of slimfast shakes all dated feb 09. What better way to shift them than to have a glitch that will be mentioned on here, so that everyone goes and buys them. Therefore solving his problem of a warehouse full of short dated shakes, that he would otherwise on any normal day never be able to shift.

You could argue that here should be a longer date on them, but it seems like all the shakes Mr B has in stock are dated the same, so it might not get you anywhere. As only certain flavours are included in the glitch it seems that all the flavours included will be off the same date.

Even if you only drink 6 of them you've not lost out. Anymore you drink after the 6th one are technically free. SO even if you only get through half of them your not losing anything really.

I wouldn't worry to much about the dates on the slimfast. I've drank it 6 months out of date and it didn't do me any harm.

Hi , just to say that in my local yesterday there was an offer on L'Oreal Recital Preference fade resistant permanent hair colour - usually £7+ each, they were 2 for £10.00. Best of all, some of them had a free L'Oreal Color Riche lipstick inside, full size, normally retails at £7.99. The only colours that had the free lipstick were some of the blonde ones, the lipstick is a lovely pale nude colour, its really fab. I thought this was a great bargain. SS

But I think I weigh more now than I did then. Still it's 'allowed' once you turn 60 isn't it?? Thats my excuse anyway!
