so if im going for the lowest unique bid the lowest so far i have had is 583 so surely i want to be going below that not above it?? so going into the 1000's would be a waste of time as it has to be lower that 583 is that right??

or am i trying to find 50 unique bids??

Its all about adopting a good bidding strategy. If your bid of 583p is unique but not the lowest then you know that currently the lowest unique bid is below that (eg someone has a bid lower than 583p that is unique). However remember that this changes all the time as new bids come in. They update you when your status changes

So a bid lower than 583 may be the LUB now but it might not be iun a few minutes or a few hours etc.

This is where clever bidding comes in. My advice is to spread your bids about.

People who currently have bids in the 1000s may end up winning, if other bidders come in and place bids under that, thus knocking each other out.

    Does that make sense?

I have played reverse auctions for quite a while and I do use little strategies to try to win, and it has worked in the past! Some people think this is just a lottery but there can be skill involved if you play the right way.

If you want any more tips, let me know and I will try to help

Either way its a lot of fun!
