I plan to go on a DMP (got my call with the CCCS tomorrow)
What I want to do, not sure how to do it tho is to have the following....
An account for my living (food, petrol, haircuts etc)
An bills account for DD and standing orders (pay day I transfer enought to cover everything, rent and other bills)
An account that is used for the bills for the house me and the ex wife plan to rent out, which has the mortgage come out of it, and the payment of rent going into it. I do not want a joint account as I am incharge of renting the house out etc.
My banks I owe money to are
Allience and Leicester, egg, halifax, barclays and hsbc.
who can or should I open up my new bank account \ accounts with ?

barclays let you open a basic account with them if you are on DMP even if you bank with them..others have done this.
Natwest do a basic step account as well.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

You could try the co-op or post office for a basic account.
I take it you are wanting to pay your wage into this account to so the banks don't just take the money as soon as it goes in?After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

So, if I owe money to
egg, barclays, halifax, hsbc and allience and lecister
I would be ok with, the co-op, abby or nationwide ?0 -
Yes, or RBS, clydesdale or postoffice.
I think these are the main ones that are not associated with any of your listed accounts. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
