Have to say today on the Orient Express was absolutely amazing,I would absolutely recommend it to everyone, it was out of this world.

We had carpet to get on the train, canapies and glass on champagne on arrival, then some prawn and fish terrine, (picked at to look like Id eat some), then butternut, pumpkin and cinnamon soup, (was absolutely brilliant), then mains, 3 bird in 1, posson, pheasant and grouse, bit weird, so wrapped half up for the dog, with roast parsnip and potato thing, pureed brussel sprouts (stayed on plate), posh carrots and red wine jus, then massive cheese board, 5 cheeses, then xmas pud and brandy sauce, coffee and mince pie, all washed down with bottle of wine.

We had 2nd bottle, cheapest was £22, but felt awful afterwards pulled out the money and realised Id only given the bloke £12.

Have to confess - will be on naughty list for eternity.........went to the shop on train, my friend brought dd silver cocktail glass charm, I got her silver carriage, teddy bear and bag, my 3 items were £50.00:eek: :eek:

But I feel as though its a start of my new life, a life for me, debts will be reassed in Jan, continue money saving, clicks, surveys etc and now aim to have monthly updates on here.

We (best mate), decided we want to go to Ritz for afternoon tea for our 40th, (born 5 days apart,) so more money saving.

mum2one I am glad you added all the little things in your post just to show how much of a lovely real person you are. I would pick at the terrine.. sneakily wrap the meat for the dog (that I dont own) and stuff too I am so glad you had a lovely day.

For everyone whos children are in christmas plays.. I hope it goes perfect. Shame you can't take photographs any more but nothing would stop me! I am going to cry my eyes out when Logan does his but luckily he is only in a carol service this year (he is 3).

I have already done Ebay Chocolate orange you big loser. LOL I am kidding. You are such a shopaholic. I wish I had the money to spend sob sob. Want to be my friend.. you must have loads of spare gifts now :D

Jammy.. I love yer. I love it when I read back and you make all these cute little things up like.. Pinkladychildren and fluladymel. I haven't done what I set out to do. I have a throat infection today now and feel like I have swallowed a crisp whole. ARGH.

Can I just say I'm a total tit. I realised today I meant the muppets christmas and not the christmas carol. DUH.

I don't know what is wrong with me lately.. christmas is coming and im falling apart!

throat infection is not an excuse for moving off the naughty list ok a bit of sympathy though. imagine how worse you would feel if you werent organised and got sick?? you can be my friend and I will share the nailfile I bought from the bodyshop for £1.13 delivered

I dont feel xmassy in the slightest. late night shopping to get the 'buzz' tomorrow. im hoping that will help

ahh Jammy.. I know how you feel.. I am exactly the same. I am trying to get some christmas spirit but I just can't get any to flow. What the hell has happened to me?

Someone said on another thread.. Just leave it until the time is nearer and wait.. the feeling WILL come but it just hasn't yet. I'm going to busy myself with loads of fun things to do and try get better.

I got my arabian bronze pearls and SSS body buffer for 1.20 here
