Turkey fancy dress for christmas play

My little 7 year old has to be a turkey in the school play. Other then paying £15 for a costume, i want to make one, but dont know where to start.

She needs plain tights for her legs and the school is suggesting a beak? and feet? and wings?

Can anyone help me please. Have untill next thursday to do it. Doesnt help that im at uni and have 2 essays to do as well. Never mind im sure ill do it.

My son has a choice of cow, pig, sheep, donkey and a horse. What does he want to be? A Spider !!!!! i informed school and am trying to talk him out of it. I just think they were in a barn so surely there could have been a spider somewhere. We will see what happens tomorrow.

Thinking of just putting her in a brown top with a big red tummy and then cardboard painted yellow with black lines for feet and then something for her beak. They want her to have feathers so shes having pink wings.lol

Should be good for a laugh
