Tesco are selling Pol.Aime champagne 750cl for half price £6.50 seems to be online only and finishes on 5th Dec.

Came up as that for me too in wine by the case-checked groceries, but can't even find it in there.

Sorry just checked and its showing on my line as £12.99 so will see if i get it for half price tomorrow for my delivey.There is another one called Blason De Brgne Montagny Ler Cru 75cl at half price £6.99 was £13.99,its under special offers then click on view all offers.Maybe its this one i meant to order, will know tomorrow.

I'm no expert, but I don't think the Blason De Bourgogne Montagny Ler Cru is a champagne. It seems to be a White Burgundy if that's not an oxymoron:

OOPS ive made a right rats rs of this,its well seeing i dont drink much,the name sounded very posh just like a champagne.Ile get me coat....

That's the general idea.

I would drink a good cava over a cheap champagne any time anyway.

From my experience (hic!!), a £5-£10 cava will be a better drink than a £15-£20 champagne (and probably a £20-£40 one as well).

Some good offers on Freixenet Vintage Cava on Tesco.com ot the moment. £28odd for 6 bottles.

Update on the champers story.Got my delivery and i was right the Pol Aime is on my delivery note at half price £6.49 but wait for it they had none left and substituted it for another one at £12.98 which i sent back.
