Free tickets to Xmas Top of the Pops

Hey,

I didnt know whether to post this here or on the quick grabbit it while you can board, but its a freebie so here i am.

Anyway, go to http://shows.external.bbc.co.uk/ and they have free tickets to some BBC shows, but i thought it TOTP tickets would be of the most interest to people. Enjoy!

hello, Im a newbie, joined to say thank you as you have gave me another chance to go to top of the pops. I say ANOTHER chance as the first time I got tickets we got to staples corner after a 2 hr drive and the car conked out! Bad luck you may say but applied for tickets again and got some only to get a letter a couple of days later to say the recording had been cancelled. Applied a third time, got tickets and... Bunsfield oil depot just so happened to be on fire so surrounding roads/motorways closed. Then lo and behold after all that they only go and cancel the blinking programme full stop. Anyway this gives me one final chance to actually get there, have always wanted to be in the audience of top of the pops, sothank you and fingers crossed eh

Wow - a blast from the past for me.

One of those v. strange co-incidences was that i was telling someone only today that i used to get tickets to Top of The Pops in my younger days (!!!!!!!!) and have still got the badge - it was in the days (blush) where they had big cameras on wheels so audience had to duck and dive!!!!!!!!!! - am really showing my age here but would say to anyone if you can get tickets and have the chance then go and enjoy yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - great at the time, great to look back on and great post for the opportunity spora !!!!!!!! - thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Been to Top of the Pops a few times. It's a great show to be in the audience for although you do have to hang around for a bit but its fun. I went to a Christmas one before but they recorded it in about October which was funny as you had to wear santa hats and stuff.

If you do get lucky, make sure you get there in plenty of time, ie an hour before as you're not guaranteed entry (obviously you may need to get there earlier depending on how popular the artists/bands are).
