please help

hi my daughter and husband are in debt a long while ago my son when he was a teenager got into debt i sorted it out, i done him a fiancial statement and sent it off to his creditors and they froze his interest and charges and he payed them a redused amout till it was all payed, could i do the same for my daughter but the only problem is my daughters husband is self employed and how they got into debt was he has had work only on and off for 2 yrs now my daughter works to pay the bills ect.

    Hi. The first thing is are they ready to take control of the situation as well? you cannot make them take responsibility.
    I can't see why helping them do a financial statement and trying to negotiate with the creditors would be a bad thing to be honest. They need to do a full and frank SOA so you can see what you have to work with.

    hi thanks they are wanting to sort there debt out, but when i do a finacial statement for them how do i put down her husbands income being he is self employed and it changes from week to week and some weeks he has none.

    Ask him for his business account books, all the info you need to prove his inome will be in there.

    Is there any particular reason why they can’t take responsibility for there own debts, why not refer them to this site / board?

    hi thanks, i might do that i have just found a company called payplan they do that sort of thing for you are they any good to use
