Where to buy the best Turkey?

Just wondering where to get the best turkey, frozen or fresh ?
I think Tesco has a half price offer on, but they all seem to be very expensive this year, and I'd like a nice one rather than just a cheap one (I missed the co-op gammon offer, I don't want to miss any good Turkey offers).
Any ideas?

Perhaps consider how many meals you want and for how many people.
There's also that trick of putting turkey breasts together to make a turkey roll for carving.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
If you can risk waiting till xmas eve they will be less than half price everywhere, they always order to many and the shops are desperate to get rid xxI have started entering competitions, lets see If I can win

Marks and Spencer without a doubt !!!! :j :j :j0

I agree, Marks and Spencer do the best range AND the best quality turkeys. I would also recommend the crowns, unless you like the dark leg meat. One tip I would say, if you do buy a whole turkey, it's better to cook the legs separately from the breast, as they take longer to cook and this can leave the breast meat dry.0

Hi
Why not support your local butcher ? Much better than a supermarket one and you've got a good chance of it being local.0 -
Need to feed 10 people, and need both dark and white meat, so need a fairly big one, local butcher closed down
(yes I did buyuy meat there before they closed) and although I would like to support local buisnesses the local farm shop is quoting me more than £70 for a 12lb bird, which seems a bit high.
