Amazon or Ebay??

I am wanting to get rid of some unwanted clutter, the first thing i'm wanting to sell is a DVD box set would it better to use ebay or amazon?

what are the fees for amazon compared to ebay?

There is a long thread about Amazon on the ebay and other auctions board. However as a rule of thumb Amazon fees are much higher than ebay, but Amazon has the advantage that you don't pay anything unless the item sells.

Personally I would check the prices out on both. Do a search on ebay for completed goods and see what your box set has previously sold for. Then look at Amazon and see what other sellers are selling your box set for, and the sales ranking, and go from there.

thanks for your reply, i have decided to list on play.com see how it goes, it seemed alot easier than ebay and the fees where a bit clearer too
