messed up the online shop --need advice !

Apologies if this isnt the proper place, feel free to move it after I've had some replies
I messed up the asda shop as usual. I seem to have bought 2 bags of brown onions plus a bag of frozen onions. We don't use an awful lot of onions !! How do I store them please ?
Ok now the same for carrots ...I have 2 bags of carrots and some in the firdge and some tins of the stuff as well... What is best to do with them ?
( dig a hole in the garden...? :rolleyes: )

Onion soup?

Carrots can be blanched and then frozen.

Onions will store for ages if kept dry and cold. They are a 'store vegetable' after all and will have been harvested ages ago. I keep mine in the garage in a basket.

Carrots will keep crisp in the bottom of the fridge for at least a week.

You could do this with both the onions and carrots.
